- Nd:YAG: Laser that induces laser pulses at 355 nm (third harmonic)
- OPO /FDO: Tunable solid state laser (OPO : 440 nm – 690 nm) and frequency doubling (FDO : 220 nm – 440 nm)
- FHG: Generation of fourth harmonic from 1064 nm (fundamental) used for TRLFS
- Controller: Onboard PC to control wavelength steps of OPO/FDO
- Attenuator: Optic device to influence the laser power (max. 5 mJ)
- Cuv : Cuvette, contains the sample under study
- PCT : Pieco-ceramic tranducer
- Energy meter : Determination of actual laser power
- Preamplifier / Spectroscopic amplifier : Impedance change and signal amplifier
- Boxcar / Oscilloscope : Measuring devices for detection of elellctrical signals of transduced PA-wave
