The substitution of silver for the alkali ions (Me+) in feldspar minerals and glasses of feldspar composition is promoted by the very similar chrystal chemical properties of the Ag+ ion. In the framework of the bachelor thesis the fitness for all threee PIXE methods in use at the IBC for the laterally resolved analysis of silver is to be tested
