Department Energy and Area Management (FKTE)

The department is responsible for energy and area management for the campus. The following fields are dealt with

energy management

• supply of energy for the  campus (contractual and clearing part)
• market analysis, energy conservation under consideration the frequently changing energy legislation
• metering, analysis, accounting to third
• improvements in the operation of technical building equipment

area management

• administration of CAFM-system
• area and room administration
• maintenance of data to technical building equipments
• surveillance of special installations (e.g. cranes, gas tanks)

The department is involved in the field of costs reduction for external service companies. From time to time a field of work are the EU-calls for tender in the field of planning buildings.
