Laser power expected for the ELBE FELs

The following figures show the outcoupled time-averaged asymptotic laser power calculated for various electron pulse lengths σt and outcoupling hole diameters Dh. The asymptotic power is obtained after a few hundred round-trips.

Beam(1), undulator(2) and resonator(3) parameters are the same as used for the gain calculation(4). The cavity losses have been taken from the estimate for the U27(5) and U100(6) resonator, respectively.
