Opportunities In Radiation Science

- The Future of the ELBE Radiation Source -

FZD Logo

4 - 5th October 2007

The purposes of the workshop are as follows:

  • to explore the prospect for an upgrade to the current radiation source ELBE at the Research Center Dresden-Rossendorf (FZD)
  • opportunities available for a completely new successor to ELBE in the near future
  • applications of the advanced ELBE electron/photon source in fundamental physics and chemistry, materials and surface science as well as applications in medicine and life sciences
