Imaging with gamma-ray computed tomography

During the last decade, two gamma-ray computed tomography (CT) setups, namely the high-resolution GammaCT system (HireCT) and the compact GammaCT system (CompaCT) were developed at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf.

The aim is to contactless expose two or multi-phase distributions in flows, occurring in technical apparatuses, operated under authentic industrial operating conditions, e.g. high pressures and high temperatures.
