Cathode Transfer System

The photocathode transfer system includes the fixed transfer chamber, load locking units and the movable transport chambers. The fixed transfer chamber with a long micrometer accurate bellow allows us to exchange cathodes quickly without warming up the cavity. The movable transport chambers with all-metal valves transport the photocathode in vacuum between the photocathode preparation laboratory and the SRF gun.
