is project leader at Orsay Physics.

After his Ph.D. thesis on the interactions between Rydberg atoms and the formation of cold molecules in the electrical ground state at the University of Orsay (France) in 2008, Matthieu moved to the University of Pisa (Italy) for 3 years of post-doc to study Rydberg atoms in a Bose-Einstein condensate.

This knowledge in cold atoms and Rydberg physics permit him to enter at Orsay Physics in 2012 and to become the leader of the ColdFIB project, which combines different domains: atomic physics with cold atoms and Rydberg atoms, and charged particles physics.

He’s the author and co-author of more than 25 articles in international review.
