Junior research group: Bubbles go with turbulent flows
We are interested in solving fundamental and applied problems related to turbulence and bubble transport in environmental and industrial flows. We use experiments (mostly) of bubble-laden turbulent flows to understand how the bubbles modify the multiscale properties of the turbulent flows, as well as the motion of the bubbles themselves. The aim is both to enhance our fundamental understanding of bubble-turbulence interaction and provide new modeling approaches for a wide range of fields in nature and industrial processes.
