Evaluation of neutron activation analyses of sphalerite and galena (Id 271)

No current offer!

Neutron activation analyses have been performed on several samples as part of the development of in-house reference materials for spatially resolved trace element analysis of sphalerite (ZnS) and galena (PbS).
The resulting extensive raw data must first be checked for internal consistency, screened and read into various analysis software.
In the course of the spectrum evaluation, the respective gamma peaks must be assigned to elements. Due to various overlaps in these spectra, this assignment must be based on geochemical information from previous analyses of the samples. This qualitative evaluation is the basis for quantification.

The duration of employment is 2 months
