PET Pharmacokinetics Course – Dresden 2017
About The Course
The PET Pharmacokinetics Course will be held March 29th – 31st, 2017 in Dresden (about 190 km south of Berlin). The course will take place just prior to BRAIN & BRAIN PET 2017 (Berlin, Germany, April 1st – 4th, 2017). Registration for the course will be separate from the BRAIN conference registration.
The PET Pharmacokinetics Course looks back at a history of more than 20 years and has evolved continuously during this time. It is designed for anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of the principles involved in PET kinetic modeling and analysis. It is appropriate for physicians, researchers with a wide range of backgrounds, including medicine, physics, chemistry, neuroscience, and pharmacology as well as for graduate students. Hands-on computer exercises are an integral part of the course concept and complement the lectures. An accompanying 130 p. course manual summarizing and augmenting the lectures is provided as well.

The cost of the course includes:
- tuition (including course materials)
- lunch and coffee
- come together at Hotel Elbflorenz on March 28th
- dinner/social events on March 29th and March 30th (TBA)
- bus transportation to the BRAIN & BRAIN PET meeting will be available for an additional fee. Buses will leave Dresden March 31st in the afternoon. Reservations may be made during registration for the PK Course.

The venue Hotel Elbflorenz has a special block for the PET PK course, offering the possibilty for all participants to stay in the same hotel at a very reasonable rate (breakfast included). It is recommended that interested participants book this hotel during the course registration procedure. Alternatively, there are other hotels of all categories not too far away from the venue.
GETTING TO Dresden
Dresden can be conveniently reached by plane (Dresden International Airport – DRS) or by train (≈ 2 hours from Berlin to Dresden central station).
