Table-Top THz

We employ several versatile laser-based THz sources besides the TELBE facility. These sources are used for our in-house research and to prepare TELBE experiments. If you are interested in collaborations or want to test concepts or samples before applying for a TELBE beamtime, get in contact with us.

We can currently provide a high power THz source based on the tilted pulse-front lithium niobate scheme. This source is driven by a 1 kHz, 800 nm, 9 µJ Coherent Astrella HE amplified laser system. It is located seperate from the TELBE lab in our High Energy Lab.

A second optical lab is currently under construction which will further expand the scope of our table-top THz and mid-infrared sources.
