Int. Workshop on High Resolution Depth Profiling
26th - 29th August 2024, Dresden, Germany
The 11th International Workshop on High Resolution Depth Profiling (HRDP-11) will be held at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Dresden, Germany.
The workshop provides an informal forum for exchange of ideas, discussion of problems and presentation of new results in the field of Low and Medium Energy Ion Scattering, RBS and ERDA and other techniques with atomic layer depth resolution, Narrow Nuclear Resonance Profiling, as well as surface structure determinations using ion beams. Contributions are also solicited from fields that have an impact on, and can be impacted by, the topics above. The workshop will be concerned with both fundamental ion-solid interactions issues and important applications in areas such as nano technology, semiconductor devices, surface and interface characterization on the atomic scale, thin-film growth and its characterization, etc. Both experimental and theoretical contributions are welcomed.
It includes but is not limited to the following topics:
- Material Science Analysis Using HRDP Methods
- Nuclear Reaction Profiling with Atomic Layer Depth Resolution
- Low and Medium Energy Ion Scattering
- New Facilities and Instrumental Developments
- Rutherford Backscattering, Elastic Recoil Detection
- Ion Detection in Helium Ion Microscopy and Atom Probe Tomography
- Quantitative Analysis of Biological Surfaces and Interfaces
- Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy and Alternative Depth Profiling Methods
- Theoretical Developments and New Computer Simulations
- Special Topics
