Selection of eligible students (1st round). Selection of supervisors

Matching of prioritized students with supervisors, interviews if appropriate (2nd round)

Final selection and administration (3rd round), submission of rejection letters
End of April 2026:
Official notification of acceptance for selected students
July - September 2026:
Summer Student Program @ HZDR
27 July - 28 August 2026 (calendar weeks 31 to 35):
Lectures (binding presence for all summer students)
