Beam Time at Felsenkeller
The Felsenkeller accelerator is open to researchers based on the merit of their proposals for scientific research. Every six months, the Felsenkeller Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) considers proposals and makes recommendations for beam time allocation.
Beam Time Request
Please fill the template and send it to the Felsenkeller Beam Time Manager Konrad Schmidt by e-mail.
The next collection date is Wednesday, September 30, 2026 for beam time from March to August 2027. The Felsenkeller Scientific Advisary Board will meet in October/November 2026 to discuss the evaluation on all proposals. Beam time allocation will be published in the Beam Time Calendar by the end of December, 2026.
Subsequently, the following collection date will be Wednesday, March 31, 2027 for beam time allocation from September 2027 to February 2028. The Felsenkeller Scientific Advisary Board will meet in April/May 2027 to discuss the evaluation on all proposals. Beam time allocation will be published by the end of June 2027.
