Battery Laboratory

Our battery lab enables the electrochemical investigation of liquid metal batteries, liquid metal electrodes and molten salt electrolytes.

For experiments, cells are build and tested under argon atmosphere in the glove box as well as demonstrator-cells outside the glove-box.
