13th MHD-days at Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf
from November 22 to November 23
Supported by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft in frame of the "SFB 609"
Scope and Goals:
This year, the 13th MHD-days will be held at the Forschungszentrum Dresden Rossendorf (FZD) located a few kilometers eastwards of the city of Dresden, the capital of Saxony, well known for its cultural and historical highlights. The conference will take place from Monday noon, November 22 to Tuesday afternoon, November 23, 2010. This date has also been chosen to celebrate the 75th birthday of Agris Gailitis. The meeting is organized by the MHD-group of the Institute of Safety Research at FZD. Following the tradition of the former MHD-days, the 13th MHD-days will focus on geo- and astrophysical MHD as well as on industrial applications of MHD. In this context, we would like to present our MHD laboratory and our future plans within the framework of the DRESDYN project. Undergraduate and PhD students are particularly encouraged to attend. In case of financial problems, please contact the organizing committee. |
