At HZDR Research Site Leipzig, scientists in the Department of Neuroradiopharmaceuticals are working on the development of radioactively labelled substances that bind specifically to the tissue of various tumors. Imaging techniques such as PET, magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) or computer tomography (CT) are used to characterize these tumor-affine substances - also in combination.
