The example shown here is the two-step conversion of water (H2O) into oxygen (O2, left side) and hydrogen (H2, right side). Hydrogen is a good example of a solar fuel. However, the web platform is also intended to help find materials that are suitable for the production of other solar fuels such as methane and ammonia.
