Training contents

  • analyzing organic and inorganic substances with regard to their qualitative and quantitative composition
  • producing organic and inorganic preparations
  • applying biotechnological, nanotechnological and cell culture processes
  • documenting measurement results
  • performing calculations with the help of a PC and statistically evaluating results
  • operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities as well as laboratory computers

Requirements

  • very good performance in natural sciences and English
  • motivation, practical skills and perseverance
  • thorough and always careful working style
  • non-sensitive skin and no allergies to chemicals
  • readiness to handle hazardous substances

School leaving certificate

  • very good secondary school leaving certificate or good A-levels
