Training contents
- analyzing organic and inorganic substances with regard to their qualitative and quantitative composition
- producing organic and inorganic preparations
- applying biotechnological, nanotechnological and cell culture processes
- documenting measurement results
- performing calculations with the help of a PC and statistically evaluating results
- operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities as well as laboratory computers
Requirements
- very good performance in natural sciences and English
- motivation, practical skills and perseverance
- thorough and always careful working style
- non-sensitive skin and no allergies to chemicals
- readiness to handle hazardous substances
School leaving certificate
- very good secondary school leaving certificate or good A-levels
Vocational school and practical partners
- block training based on the dual vocational training system
- the vocational school is the Berufliches Schulzentrum Meißen-Radebeul
- the practical partner is the Sächsische Bildungsgesellschaft für Umweltschutz und Chemieberufe Dresden
