Electronics technician for automation technology (f/m/d)

Are you an avid technology fan and already have some knowledge of electrical engineering? Area of work at the HZDR: production and manufacturing automation! Then start your training with us - we look forward to your application!

This is what our former trainee Leonie has to say:

"The great thing about my job as an electronics technician for automation technology is the wide range of tasks. You work with the system from start to finish. You draw up the circuit diagrams, plan the control cabinet and wire it.
You also write the program, test the system and put it into operation.

Many specialists at the HZDR are on hand to help you with the implementation. If you find these tasks exciting and enjoy doing them, then this is the right place for you."

Training contents

  • setting up, commissioning and maintaining complex and machine-controlled systems (e.g. production lines)
  • setting up, testing and optimizing as well as configuring and programming automation systems
  • integrating, commissioning and maintaining automation solutions
  • independent planning of automation systems
  • setting up and operating systems with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric drives
  • repairing systems

Requirements

  • good performance in mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science
  • logical and abstract thinking
  • interest in working with technology and IT systems
  • good electrotechnical imagination
  • careful working methods
  • reliability
  • practical skills
  • (possibly) some (electro-) technical knowledge

School leaving certificate

  • good to very good secondary school leaving certificate

  • 3.5 years (in case of top performance, a reduction to 3 years is possible)
