The spin-off project NanoscopiX is based on the development of an innovative procedure for the fluorescence microscopy. The fluorescence technique is used primarily in the field of medical research, medical diagnostics, as well as biology or organic samples to be examined. Fluorescence studies are a proven method, where its main limit is the resolution of the signal set, as well as some disadvantages due to the need of using toxic substances on markers.

NanoscopiX wants to eliminate these restrictions by using a novel cryogenic technique. With a significantly improved yield of the fluorescence signal new findings for a better understanding of different situations such as medical, malignant diseases, sepsis, allergy diagnostics, dementia, lactate analysis, mitochondrial function disorder, allergy diagnostics, and particularly the early detection of diabetes type II, cancer tumor studies are getting possible.

The products of NanoscopiX contribute to a more rapid diagnosis of various diseases and higher effectiveness of medicines at a better compatibility.
