Title Atomic force microscopy
Description Protein molecules have the ability to arrange themselves into regular nanostructures. Scientists at the HZDR use this behavior for the environmentally friendly coating of surfaces or the filtering of pollutants from water bodies. The researchers are also experimenting with bacteria to develop technologies for the treatment of metals.
