Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems (f/m/d)

Training contents

• setting up, programming, optimzing and maintaining electronic devices and systems
• manufacturing, examining and maintaining components and systems (e.g. for information and communication technology, testing technology or automation technology)
• measuring and analyzing electronic functions and systems
• installing and configuring information systems

Requirements

• good performance in mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science
• logical and abstract thinking
• interest in working with technology and IT systems
• good electrotechnical imagination
• careful working methods
• practical skills
• (possibly) some (electro-) technical knowledge

School leaving certificate

• good to very good secondary school leaving certificate

Vocational school and practical partners

• block training based on the dual vocational training system
• the vocational school is the Berufliches Schulzentrum Weißwasser
• the practical partner is the IHK-Bildungszentrum Dresden
• opportunity for an internship at the Rossendorf Beamline in Grenoble/France (in case of top performance)

Duration of vocational training

• 3.5 years (in case of top performance, a reduction to 3 years is possible)
