Forschungstätigkeit
Untersuchung der Wechselwirkung von Radionukliden und Industriemetallen mit Bioliganden und Mikroorganismen. Ziel der Arbeiten ist es, molekulare Prozesse in der Natur und auf Zellebene aufzuklären und ihr Zusammenwirken zu verstehen. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse dienen einer verbesserten Risikoabschätzung und andererseits der Entwicklung von neuen Materialien und Verfahren für die Detektion, Entfernung und Gewinnung von Metallen.
