Participants travel to HZDR Rossendorf on their own:

  • By car: address Bautzner Landstr. 400, 01328 Dresden-Rossendorf
  • By plane: Take S1 train to Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station), then take bus 261 to "Rossendorf Forschungszentrum" (combined train+bus ticket 2.30 €).
  • By train: Get off at Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station), then take bus 261 to "Rossendorf Forschungszentrum".
  • If you arrive at Dresden airport around noon, please contact Anne Varga with your flight number and arrival time. In that case we will try to arrange a direct shuttle from the airport to Rossendorf.

Instructions for getting back from Felsenkeller to Dresden Hauptbahnhof (25 minutes by bus A + tram 7):

  • Leave the Felsenkeller area. After crossing the rail line, turn left and walk 200 m to bus stop "Felsenkeller".
  • Get on bus "A" (every 15 minutes, ticket 2,30 €), stay on the bus until the final stop.
  • At the final stop of bus "A" (Dresden - Gröbelstraße / Tharandter Straße), get on tram 7 (direction downtown).
  • Keep the ticket you bought on the bus, it is still valid.
  • Get off at "Dresden Hauptbahnhof".
