Postdoctoral research associate (m/f)

The position will be available from the earliest possible time. The employment contract is limited to two years.

Tasks:

  • pursue vigorous research in an internationally leading user facility (www.hzdr.de/hld)
  • participate in the Cluster of Excellence project Complexity and Topology in Quantum Materials (ct.qmat)
  • the candidate will also be involved in the user program at the HLD which provides access to pulsed magnetic fields beyond 90 T as well as to a large variety of experimental techniques

Requirements:

  • PhD in physics
  • experience in high magnetic field and/or low-temperature measurements as well as in strongly correlated electron physics - the focus of the HLD inhouse research program - is desired
