MHD-Days and GdRI Dynamo Meeting

November 26 to November 28, 2018 Dresden, Germany

Scope and Goals:

This year the annual meetings of the German MHD community and the GDRI Dynamo network will be jointly held in Dresden, the capital of Saxony, well known for its cultural and historical highlights.

The conference is organized by the MHD-group of the Institute of Fluid Dynamics at HZDR and will take place from Monday, November 26th to Wednesday, November 28th, 2018. Following the tradition of former MHD-Days and GdRI Dynamo meetings, the conference will focus on geo- and astrophysical MHD as well as on industrial applications of MHD. In this context, we would like to present our MHD laboratory and the DRESDYN project.

Undergraduate and PhD students are particularly encouraged to attend.
