On January 01, 2020, Nadine Möhring-Lotsch started as head of the Personnel Affairs Department at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). The business educator with a focus on corporate management and organization worked at the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg for several years before building up and managing the human resources department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS) in Dresden from 2011 to 2018.

After gaining further experience as a human resources manager in the industry, Möhring-Lotsch is now happy to be back in a scientific environment. "Together with the team of the Personnel Affairs Department and in close cooperation with all institutes and departments of the HZDR, I want to ensure a good and solid basis for scientific excellence. Outstanding research requires a committed and outstanding workforce at all HZDR locations," says Nadine Möhring-Lotsch about her goals. In the context of social changes, such as demographic change, the service orientation in personnel development and administration needs to be sharpened in order to provide optimal support for the scientific departments.
