The Multiphase Flow Workshop - Conference and Short Course
Multiphase flows are of great interest to a large variety of industries. The power generation, nuclear reactor technology, food production, chemical process, aerospace and automotive industries are all driving forces in this complex field.
The goal of the workshop was to bring together experimental and numerical practitioners, and to foster discussion and exchange of knowledge.
Experts from both areas are called to present their research and application results to a worldwide audience. Topics of interest include:
- Simulation technology for multiphase flows
- Phase interaction models
- Turbulence models
- Solution algorithms
- Multi-scale modelling techniques
- Application of simulation methods to multiphase flow problems
- Experimental investigations of multiphase and magnetohydrodynamic flows
- Measurement methods for multiphase and magneto-hydrodynamic flows
The workshop is divided into two parts: starting with two days of Short Course, two more days of Conference will follow.
Online Event
Communication among the participants as well as with the lecturers of the Short Course has always been a particularly important part of our multiphase flow workshop. We try to ensure that such personal and group meetings will be possible, even with the online event. The conferencing tool will provide appropriate meeting rooms for meetings between participants (individually or in groups), as well as personal, group and public chats.
Of course, these opportunities need to be used by you! Therefore, please free yourself from other obligations during the event and try to be present as you would be at an on-site event!
The lectures and presentations will be pre-recorded if possible and will therefore be available to registered participants during the event. If a lecture is not available in advance, it will be recorded and made available for viewing afterwards. If certain contributions are too early or too late for your time zone, you can still watch them on a time-delayed basis.
