International experts wanted for innovation and exchange program
The Innovators Club provides the opportunity to contribute to the transfer of knowledge between the expert network and the HZDR.

The Alumni Network of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is organising an exciting innovation and exchange tour in October for former international scientists who are now working in America, Asia or Europe. Contact persons for the HZDR TrAIN project, which has been running since June 2022, are the Human Resources and Technology Transfer departments of the HZDR. Institutes that still have contact with their alumni are asked to get in touch.
The project, which is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), aims to recruit international alumni for further collaborations with the HZDR in order to strengthen ties with our research centre.
In October 2022, 13 international alumni will be invited to the HZDR for a one-week event. The program includes visits to laboratories and innovation projects, continuing education courses and a variety of activities to establish contacts with regional start-ups and spin-offs as well as the innovation ecosystem. The event will conclude with a follow-up event planned for October 2023. Ideas and suggestions for the program will be gladly considered during the organisation.
All activities contribute to building an exclusive HZDR expert network that promotes exchange and innovations between alumni and scientists. By participating in the event, alumni benefit from a customized training program in the fields of technology transfer and cooperation management as well as access to a worldwide, interdisciplinary cooperation network. In addition, alumni also gain insights into current research and technology developments at the HZDR and the associated Innovation Labs and start-ups.
