Language courses at the HZDR - from September 2025

In cooperation with the Volkshochschule Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge, we will be offering language courses for beginners and advanced learners directly at the HZDR from September 2025.
You can choose from different levels from A1 to B2. You can find an overview of all courses here.
Important information at a glance:
- Cost reimbursement: HZDR employees who attend at least 80% of the training days will receive 75% of the course fees reimbursed.
- Crediting as working time: The entire duration of the course is counted as working time.
- Prerequisite: Before the course begins, your manager must agree that your participation is in the official interest of the HZDR.
- Minimum number of participants: A course can only be held if at least 7 people register.
