About the Conference

We invite you to join us in Dresden for the Actinides conference 2027! Dresden is located at the heart of Europe, halfway between Berlin and Prague, well-connected to all major traffic hubs. The city features a historical old town center, a vibrant social and night life, cultural highlights, and stunning nature in close vicinity. And of course world class conference venues!

Actinides 2027 provides an international platform for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge research in actinide science. The conference brings together established experts and emerging scientists to exchange ideas and recent findings across the full spectrum of actinide chemistry.

The scientific program will include plenary talks by international experts as well as two parallel sessions covering a wide range of topics, from coordination chemistry to geochemistry, from relativistic quantum chemistry to spectroscopy, and from electronic structure to bulk solid-state properties, such as magnetism and superconductivity.

Call for Contributions

We welcome contributions in the form of oral presentations and posters. Abstract submission will open towards the end of 2026 or early 2027. An abstract template will be provided.
