HZDR participates in the “Dresden is(s)t bunt” banquet on September 1, 2025

The “Dresden is(s)t bunt” banquet has become a fixture in the event calendar of Saxony's capital city. As every year, companies, associations, ministries, and other institutions are inviting people to the big get-together to chat over favorite dishes from around the world in a cheerful atmosphere. Employees of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) will also be inviting people to enjoy culinary delights and conversation at their own table on September 1.

Since 2015, thousands of people have been coming to the “Dresden is(s)t bunt” banquet to showcase the city's diversity and hospitality. On September 1, 2025, between 4 and 8 p.m., people will be serving food from all over the world at a long banquet table on Hauptstraße. As one of around 200 organizations, the HZDR is once again participating in the event in Dresden.

Further contributions from HZDR employees are welcome! The idea behind the event is to bring a specialty from your own home country to enjoy with food and drinks at the banquet table while chatting with guests. Specialties will be tasted together and numerous artistic performances will provide entertainment on the side.

Anyone who would like to participate is welcome to send an email to diversity@hzdr.de and let us know when and how they would like to support the HZDR table on September 1, 2025. It is also possible to simply drop by spontaneously.
