NanoNet+ Annual Workshop 2026

The Annual Workshop of the (former) International Helmholtz Research School (IHRS) for Nanolectronic Networks (NanoNet) and the Department of Nanoelectronics of HZDR will place at the Jugendherberge Schöneck between September 16th-18th 2026.
More information will follow in due time- stay tuned. It will be organized in collaboration with ... . This workshop is part of a continious series since 13 years starting with the first workshop of the IHRS NanoNet in 2013. For registration details see below.

Poster presentations are highly appreciated. A poster session will be organized on the first day and the posters will be on display for discussions during the entire workshop. Please contact us.

Student Award

The Student Award recognizes the best presentation by a young scientist. It consists of a glass trophy for the winner, a certificate, and a voucher of 50/40/30 EUR for the first/second/third prize.
The 2025 trophy and the winner Mira Kreßler from FU Berlin.

Program, Abstracts, and Transport

The program will be anounced in good time.
The scientific program will start after lunch on Day 1, and will run until Day 3 lunch time. It will include invited talks, contributed talks, and one poster session on Day 1.
Invited talks are scheduled for 40+10 minutes,
Contributed talks for 20+5 minutes.
Posters will be on display the whole time. Format should be A0 in portrait orientation.
At arrival, we recommend to take regional train (Deutsche Bahn, about 3.5h) from Dresden-Hauptbahnhof leaving every hour. Change to Schöneck(Vogtl) in Zwickau Hbf or Plauen Oberer Bhf. From Plauen there is a bus connection, too.
The youth hostel Schöneck is about 450m from station Schöneck(Vogtl), if you leave the train at station 'Schöneck(Vogtl) Ferienpark' you walk for 650m.
At departure, we will conclude after lunch at around 2 pm.
