Connect - Transfer and accompanying research on technology development and innovation for the exploration, extraction, and processing of primary raw materials

The accompanying project Connect specifically links the various research projects in EGARoh and EGARoh Junior with each other and with external interest groups. The aim is to identify synergies and common challenges at an early stage and to transfer solutions to industry, politics, science, and the public. In addition, Connect is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the achievement of the funding programs' objectives and recommendations for follow-up measures.

Connect partners contribute comprehensive expertise in raw material security, resource technologies, responsible raw material extraction, and project coordination to the project and use their networks to effectively communicate the results of EGARoh. In this way, the project actively contributes to strengthening Germany's and Europe's self-sufficiency in raw materials and sustainably increasing innovation in the raw materials sector.
