With a special two-day High Power Laser Science Symposium on February 6-7, 2023, we shall celebrate the formal retirement of Professor Roland Sauerbrey as scientific director of HZDR (on February 6), and we are particularly honored to welcome Professor Donna Strickland, 2018 Nobel Laureate for Physics.
