Investigations on wet instable foams

The suitability to use needle shaped conductivity probes for investigations on wet foams was tested. This was done in experiments on a bubble column for different alcoholic solutions aerated by air. The investigations include a comparison with other measuring methods. In the result it was shown, that such probes are suitable for the measurements. Characteristic parameter were obtained for different foams and compared with data from literature (if available).
