Training contents
- accompanying activities and processes in the context of operational radiation protection (measuring, monitoring,
- checking, consulting)
- preparing legally compliant regulations (e.g.: radiation protection instructions, approval documents)
- supervising measurement technology, recording and evaluating results
- carrying out shielding calculations with the help of a PC
- declaring radioactive residues and waste
- expertly preparing and supervising the operation of an ion accelerator
Requirements
- good to very good performance in the natural sciences and English
- motivation
- independent, careful and accurate way of working
- good communication and explanation skills
- willingness to handle (radioactive) hazardous substances
School leaving certificate
- A-levels or vocational A-levels in the field of technology
Berufsakademie Sachsen
- block training based on the dual study system, combines practical training with the teaching and application of scientific knowledge and methods
- the university is the Berufsakademie Sachsen - Staatliche Studienakademie Riesa
- practical training partners are the HZDR as well as the TU Dresden and the VKTA Rossendorf
- completion of your Bachelor's thesis in the sixth semester
