Trinational Science Conference - "Building Bridges for the next Generations" at the International Congress Center Dresden

On behalf of the Free State of Saxony, the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is organizing the science conference "Building Bridges for the Next Generations" on May 16 and 17, 2023. The conference will present the excellent research in Central and Eastern Europe, especially Saxony, Poland and the Czech Republic, thus positioning the region as an important science and technology location. Registrations are still possible.

The event is aimed primarily at young researchers, to offer them a platform and to come into conversation with representatives from politics, business and society. On the one hand, this gives participants the opportunity to network within the scientific community across disciplines and borders in order to lay the foundation for cross-border cooperation in the long term. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to establish contacts with important decision-makers from politics, business and science.

In addition to numerous scientific contributions, the panel discussion with the subsequent get-together on the evening of May 16 will be one of the highlights. The Minister-President of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, and the Prime Ministers of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, and (presumably) Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, will discuss the interplay between science and politics in an international context together with young scientists.

Registrations are possible under https://con-gressa.de/form/registration-building-bridges/ . Your participation is free.
