Note on visa invitations

The invitations for visa requests have been send out on the 30th of July.
Requests for visa invitation for participants registered after that date will not be processed, due to the time limitation needed to acquire a visa at the embassy.

Conference

The conference will be held in the "Dreikönigskirche" located on the main street (Hauptstraße 23) of Dresden Neustadt (see link below). It will start on the 25th of September with a physics symposium on the physics of compressed baryonic matter, and continue with the three day's of the 10th CBM collaboration meeting.
On all four day's we will have two coffee breaks and lunch served directly in the conference location.

On Tuesday we organize after the lectures a conference Reception and on Wednesday a dinner.

The catering in the conference building will be free of charge for the Participants.

The surrounding of the location is shown on this sketch of the conference location. It shows you, how to come from the tram stop at Albertplatz to the Dreikönigskirce.

Presentations

All the conference rooms are equipped with beamers and laptops for the presentation. If you want to be sure, that your presentation will be shown as on your PC, please send them to the organizers the week before the meeting, and we will test if all fonts are installed.

We will have Powerpoint, Open Office and AcrobatReader available for presentations.

The main auditorium is equipped with microphone and speakers. So, don't worry if your voice is low.

During the meeting, you can upload your presentations to a local web server, and it will immediatly be available for everyone for download. Details can be found on the handout for internet access.

Internet access

During the meeting access to the internet using wireless lan will be available connected to the internet. Details will described on a handout available at the registration desk.

To get a schedule of the traveling time needed from your hotel to the conference location go to the pages of the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe, click on the link for Bus and Tram and the Travel Information. In the form you have to click in the upper field the tab "Address" to be able to enter the address of your hotel. Then enter in the filed "Place of departure" the text "Dresden" and in the field "Street, house number" the address of your hotel eg. "Hochschulstrasse 50" for the Guesthouse of the TU. In the Fields of the lower part, enter again "Dresden" in the field labled "Place of arrival" and "Albertplatz" in the field "Stop name". Then select Date and time and submit the information. You will be presented with the next four traveling possibilities starting from the selected time.
