Laser power expected for the ELBE FELs
The following figures show the outcoupled time-averaged asymptotic laser power calculated for various electron pulse lengths σt and outcoupling hole diameters Dh. The asymptotic power is obtained after a few hundred round-trips.
Beam, undulator and resonator parameters are the same as used for the gain calculation. The cavity losses have been taken from the estimate for the U27 and U100 resonator, respectively.
