Research: Recent results

  • Anatase and rutile TiO2 thin films:


XRD scans of TiO2 thin films on either fused silica (a)-linear y-scale or SrTiO3(001) single crystals (b)-logarithmic y-scale. For (a), anatase and rutile phases could be achieved by adjusting the growth temperature. The thickness of the films are 360 (anatase) and 390 nm (rutile) on fused silica 290 nm on SrTiO3 (STO). Films have been prepared by reactive magnetron sputtering from a Ti target in a Ar+O2 atmosphere.

  • Magnetic properties of Co or Fe doped TiO2:
