No space for discrimination
Diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion – these values are more than just words for us. They form the core of what we do at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. Our commitment to these values is unwavering because they are central to our mission and purpose: Different perspectives lead to better ideas to solve the complex problems of a changing – and increasingly diverse – world.
Our scientific excellence depends on whether we are open-minded to what is new and supposedly foreign. A climate of exclusion and demarcation is detrimental to the scientific process and progress. Our center and all research institutions in Saxony as well as Germany need the knowledge, skills and talents of gifted people – no matter where they come from.
Our full solidarity goes to all those who work for freedom worldwide – especially to women and girls who fight for the right to education, self-determination, and freedom of expression. It is our goal to create a safe and tolerant environment at HZDR in which mutual respect and recognition are self-evident, so that all employees can develop their individual talents. We have no space for people who do not support these values.
