HIF admitted to the "Center of Expertise for CE" at the University of Jyväskylä
First meeting with representatives of the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, where the HIF was accepted as a member of the "Center of Expertise for CE".

Ajay Patil, Head of the Process Metallurgy Department at HIF was recently appointed Adjunct Professorship at the University of Jyväskylä (JYU). The scientific exchange between the two institutions will thus be intensified and is to be manifested in a cooperation agreement. To this end, there was now a first exchange on site in Finland. Prof. Jens Gutzmer, scientific director of the HIF, Dr. Simone Raatz, administrative director of the HIF as well as Prof. Ajay Patil now exchanged first project ideas and possibilities of cooperation with representatives of the responsible faculty. "We are very pleased that in a first important step, it has been decided to include the HIF in the newly established "Center of Expertise for Circular Economy" of the University of JYU. Many thanks to Mikko Mönkkönen, Mikka Petterson and Ari Väisänen for opening this great opportunity to start an impactful collaboration," says Prof. Gutzmer.
