Change of route: Construction work and closure of the B6 in the period 22.04.-25.10.2024

Information for guests

Coming from the direction of Bischofswerda, the research center can be reached via the B6. The road in the direction of Dresden will remain fully closed from April 27, 2024 until October 25, 2024.

From August 3, 2024, the B6 will be one-way from the Schänkhübel junction to the research center (direction Bischofswerda). For access from Dresden, please use the main entrance for registration. Until October 4, 2024, it is possible to exit via the old main entrance in the direction of Dresden, but not via the main entrance. Exit in the direction of Bischofswerda via the main entrance as usual.

Changes to bus services

The bus stop "Siedlung Rossendorf" will not be served. The bus coming from Dresden will only stop at the bus stops "Rossendorf Schänkhübel" and "Rossendorf Forschungszentrum". Buses coming from Sebnitz will travel from "Rossendorf Forschungszentrum" via the old main entrance to "Rossendorf Schänkhübel" without stopping.

Access by bike

During the entire period of the partial and full closure, the sidewalk northeast of Schänkhübel on Bautzner Landstraße will be open to cyclists.
