Copy of system at Pecs: Generation of THz pulses by optical rectification of sub-ps laser pulses in nonlinear media, 0.1-1 THz. Enhancement of efficiecy by phasematching with tilted pulse fronts, ca. 1 mJ THz from 100 mJ source pulse. See papers by Hebling, Kovacs, Fülöp. The setup also includes an EOS sampling for time-domain characterization.
