The ThUL School in Actinide Chemistry

19th to 23rd of September 2016 in Dresden

Getting There

The school will be held in Dresden, Germany. The venue for lectures and exercises will be at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf at the Institute for Resource Ecology. For more traveling information, have a look here!

We have reserved rooms at the Gewandhaus Hotel in Dresden for 75 € per night including breakfast, using the key word "ThUL". You will get more detailed information, once your application has been approved!

You can reach the hotel by public transport. The stop closest to the hotel is “Pirnaischer Platz” which is a crossing point for quite a number of different tram lines and can be reached conveniently from main station using tram 3 (direction: Wilder Mann) or 7 (direction Weixdorf) and from the airport by taking S2 to Bahnhof Neustadt and changing to tram 3 (direction: Coschütz). For more information on the public transport please visit the homepage of public transport company DVB or download the network map.

We organized a bus shuttle in the mornings to the venue of the school and back again after the lectures and exercises. The location of the social event, the venue of the conference diner, as well as most touristic highlights of Dresden are within walking distance of the hotel so that you do not necessarily need a week pass for the public transport.

We are looking forward to an exciting week in Dresden with you!
