Content

 The lecture includes a general introduction to the radiopharmaceutical chemistry of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) for nuclear medicine and basic medical research. In  addition to the physical principles, aspects of the production of radionuclides, handling and the synthesis of organic and inorganic radiopharmaceuticals are presented. Other key topics include GMP-compliant production of sterile radiopharmaceuticals and the principles of radiopharmacology of radiodiagnostics and radiotherapeutics.
