After a one-year break, the Open House Day was back again – around 100 labs and experimental stations were available for all interested visitors. There were interesting presentations, experiments to participate in, and physics to experience hands-on as well as many novel attractions for both young and old research fans.

The next – and final – tour in the DRESDEN-concept series of guided tours will take place at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. HZDR-scientists will guide you to Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory, where Europe’s largest capacitor bank is operated, and to the TOPFLOW facility, which allows research in the fields of thermo-fluid dynamics in order to improve sustainability and energy efficiency of industrial processes.

Our Research Site Leipzig develops molecular probes for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. Radioactivity also helps conduct geoscientific research to investigate the transport of (harmful) substances in the environment. You found us in the Wissenschaftspark Leipzig.
